As well as announcing their high end HTC Windows Phone 8X, HTC also announced a budget Windows Phone 8 smartphone a while back, and now it would appear that the new HTC Windows Phone 8S is getting ready to launch in the US, as the device has appeared at the FCC.
The HTC Windows Phone 8S has turned up at the FCC with support for both AT&T and T-Mobile HSPA bands, so it looks like the device will be headed to the US shortly.
The HTC 8S is powered by a dual core Qualcomm S4 1GHz processor and it comes with 16GB of storage, and a microSD card slot , plus 512MB of RAM.
Other specifications on the HTC 8S include a 5 megapixel rear facing camera for photos and video which features and led flash and auto-focus and can record HD video in 720.
The HTC 8 S also feature Beats Audio, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and GPS, as soon as we get some details on when the HTC Windows Phone 8s will launch in the US we will let you guys know.
