The HTC Sensation was announced last month, and now UK mobile operator Vodafone has started taking pre-orders on HTC’s latest Android smartphone which is due to go on sale later this month.
The HTC Sensation is available from free with Vodafone UK for customers who sign up to a new 24 month contract that costs £35 per month, the cheapest contract available for the Sensation costs £25 per month, although you will have to pay £199 up front for the handset.
As a reminder, the HTC Sensation features a dual core Qualcomm MSM 8260 1.2GHz processor and a 4.3 inch qHD display, with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, there is also 1GB of built in storage, plus a microSD card slot and it comes with 768MB of RAM, and it will come with Android Gingerbread 2.3.3.
The HTC Sensation also comes with two cameras, a VGA camera on the front for video chat and an 8 megapixel camera on the back with built in auto focus and a dual LED flash, plus there is HSPA/WCDMA connectivity, and also Bluetooth 3.0 and 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, plus A-GPS, a gyro sensor, G-sensor, a proximity sensor and a digital compass.
