The HTC Sensation went on sale in the UK back in May, it was available exclusively from Vodafone, and now it looks like the exclusivity has ended as the HTC Sensation is now also available from Three here in the UK.
Three are selling the HTC Sensation, and it is available on a range of different plans, with the cheapest starting at £30 per month on a 24-month contract, and the handset is available for free.
HTC Sensation: A Flagship Device
The HTC Sensation is HTC’s flagship Android smartphone, it has a 4.3 inch qHD display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, which provides a crisp and clear viewing experience. This makes it ideal for watching videos, browsing the web, and playing games. There is also 1GB of storage built in, plus a microSD card slot that can take up to 32GB cards, allowing users to expand their storage capacity significantly.
On top of that, the HTC Sensation features a dual-core 1GHz Qualcomm processor, which ensures smooth performance and the ability to handle multiple applications simultaneously without any lag. The 8-megapixel camera with a built-in dual LED Flash and auto-focus is perfect for capturing high-quality photos and videos. Up front, there is a VGA camera for video chat, making it easier to stay connected with friends and family.
Software and Connectivity
The HTC Sensation comes with Android Gingerbread 2.3, which was one of the most popular versions of Android at the time of its release. It also features HTC’s Sense UI, which provides a user-friendly interface and a range of customizable options to enhance the user experience. The Sense UI includes features such as customizable home screens, widgets, and a variety of themes.
In terms of connectivity, the HTC Sensation offers 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, and HSPA/WCDMA connectivity. This ensures that users can stay connected to the internet and other devices with ease. The device also supports GPS, making it a great option for navigation and location-based services.
The HTC Sensation also includes a range of sensors, such as an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor, which enhance the overall functionality of the device. These sensors enable features such as automatic screen rotation, adjusting screen brightness based on ambient light, and more.
