HTC announced its new Windows Phone Mango smartphone a few weeks back, and now T-Mobile in the US have confirmed that the HTC Radar will be available on their network before the holidays.
As we heard previously, the HTC Radar features a 3.8 inch multi-touch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Processing is provided by a single core 1GHz processor, and there is also 512MB of RAM and 8GB of storage. This combination ensures that the device can handle everyday tasks smoothly, although it may not be suitable for more demanding applications or games.
Camera and Multimedia Features
The HTC Radar is equipped with a 5 megapixel camera that includes an F2.2 lens, LED flash, and a BSI sensor. The BSI (Backside Illumination) sensor is particularly noteworthy as it enhances the camera’s performance in low-light conditions, making it easier to capture clear and vibrant photos even in dim environments. On the front, there is a VGA camera designed for video chat, which, while not high-definition, is sufficient for basic video calling needs.
