HTC One M9 codenamed Hima has seen its fair share of leaks in the past few weeks. The handset is expected to come with a better 20MP camera on the back, ditching the UltraPixel setup on the current flagship.
To add more to it, the alleged HTC One M9 has received WiFi and NFC certification, hinting that HTC is making sure the handset is ready for prime time at the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona — the company has scheduled an event on March 1st where the Taiwanese OEM is rumored to take the wraps off the alleged handset.
The report mentions that HTC One M9 received the NFC certification back in December, and is listed as the HTC 0PJA110 and HTC 0PJA200. Despite a number of model numbers, it’s believed that 0PJA devices are associated with the HTC One M9.
Rumors suggest the HTC One M9 will boast a 5-inch display with a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels, a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage coupled with a microSD card slot, and is expected to ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop as its operating system with Sense 7 UI. The Taiwanese company is also rumored to bump the camera on the device with a 20MP rear shooter, and a 13MP front-facing camera.
We’ll update you as soon as the handset is officially announced by the Taiwanese company, stay tuned.
