HTC One M8 Leaked in Black Color

HTC One M8

HTC One M8 went on sale a few months back in three color options: amber gold, glacial silver and gunmetal grey. The handset is also available on Verizon in red, but its just for the Big Red.

Recently, @evleaks posted another image of the HTC One M8 in black color as shown above. At first sight, it resembles quite a lot to the Harmon Kardon edition of the handset, but there’s no branding on the back.

The notorious leaker didn’t say anything about the launch of this new color option, or if its the same Harmon Kardon edition (without branding on the back), but based on @evleaks track record, there’s a good change we may get to see this new color option. HTC has in the past introduced new color options for the HTC One M7 weeks after announcing the handset.

Anyway, we doubt it will have any change in the specifications, and should come with a similar hardware. Spec-wise, HTC One M8 comes with a 5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and comes with a Snapdragon 801 SoC with 2GB of RAM on board.

Other features include 16/32GB storage with a microSD card slot, Duo camera with 4MP UltraPixel camera and a depth sensor, a 2,600 mAh battery and comes with Android 4.4.2 KitKat and Sense 6 UI out of the box.

We’ll keep our eyes on the news, and update you as soon as the new color option hits retail.
