UK retailer Superetrader has listed some rumored specifications for HTC’s latest Android smartphone, the HTC Desire HD. According to the website, the HTC Desire HD will feature a 4.3-inch WVGA touch screen display and an eight-megapixel camera, which will be capable of recording HD video in 720p.
On top of that, there will be a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 4GB of built-in storage, and also a microSD card slot which can take up to 32GB cards.
They are saying that the HTC Desire HD will be available in October of 2010 and it will come with Android 2.2 and feature a unibody aluminum design.
Enhanced Multimedia Capabilities
The HTC Desire HD is expected to offer enhanced multimedia capabilities, making it a strong contender in the smartphone market. The eight-megapixel camera is not just for still photos; it also supports HD video recording at 720p, which is a significant feature for users who enjoy capturing high-quality videos on the go. Additionally, the large 4.3-inch WVGA touch screen display will provide an excellent viewing experience for videos, photos, and other multimedia content.
Performance and Storage
The 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor is designed to deliver robust performance, ensuring that the HTC Desire HD can handle multiple applications and tasks simultaneously without lag. This is particularly important for users who rely on their smartphones for both work and entertainment. The 4GB of built-in storage, while modest by today’s standards, can be expanded significantly with the microSD card slot, which supports cards up to 32GB.
