We pretty much know that HTC’s new flagship smartphone will be called the HTC 10 and now the name for the handset has briefly appeared on HTC’s website.
The new HTC 10 is expected to be made official at a HTC press event next week, the event takes place on the 12th of April.
The handset will comes with a 5.1 inch display that will feature a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the device will also come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.
Other rumored specifications on HTC’s new Android flagship include 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, there will also be a microSD card slot for expansion.
We have also heard that the device will feature a 5 megapixel front facing camera and a 12 megapixel rear camera, plus WiFi, Bluetooth and 4G LTE, it will also come with the latest version of Google’s Mobile OS, Android Marshmallow.
The camera is expected to be a major feature on the new HTC 10, although exactly what new features the camera will come with remains to be seen, I guess we will find out next Tuesday.
HTC are expected to launch their new smartphone this month and the device is rumored to hit retail stores on the 15th of March, we will have more information about the handset when it is made official next week.
