Honda has rolled out a highly customized concept vehicle at SEMA 2018 and this ride is a combination of a Honda side-by-side and a Honda Ridgeline truck. Honda started with a Ridgeline body and then grafted on doors from its Pioneer 1000 side-by-side.
The concept has an interior that is meant to resist the elements with durable painted surfaces and seats out of a Civic Type R. Those seats are covered in the waterproof material that the Pioneer 1000 uses on its seats. While this is a pure concept, Honda notes that it uses existing Honda components.
The design team used the steering wheel from the Pioneer 1000 adapted to the Ridgeline steering column. The tailgate panel and bed are custom designed to look like the parts the Pioneer 1000 uses.
