Gamers eagerly anticipating the arrival of the new Hitman Absolution game, which is expected to officially launch on November 20th, 2012 for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, might enjoy this gameplay footage from the Hitman Absolution game.
The video was premiered back at E3 last month, but has now been released on YouTube. So if you haven’t already seen the gameplay trailer, settle back and enjoy 17 minutes of footage with commentary from the game’s developers as they complete the level.
“Agent 47 needs to kidnap Lenny “the limp” Dexter, who holds the key to the whereabouts of Victoria. 47 swore to protect her as a dying wish to his only friend Diana Burnwood. In order to get to “the limp”, the Original Assassin has to take out Lenny’s gang “The Cougars”.
Gameplay Mechanics and Features
Hitman Absolution introduces several new gameplay mechanics and features that distinguish it from its predecessors. One of the most notable additions is the “Instinct Mode,” which allows Agent 47 to predict enemy patrol routes, locate points of interest, and blend into his surroundings more effectively. This feature adds a strategic layer to the game, enabling players to plan their moves meticulously.
The game also boasts an improved AI system, making enemies more responsive and challenging. They can now communicate with each other, call for reinforcements, and adapt to the player’s actions, making stealth and strategy even more crucial. The developers have also included a variety of disguises and tools that players can use to navigate through levels, adding depth and replayability to the game.
Storyline and Character Development
The storyline of Hitman Absolution is both engaging and emotionally charged. Agent 47’s mission to protect Victoria adds a personal dimension to the game, making it more than just a series of contracts to fulfill. The relationship between Agent 47 and Diana Burnwood is explored in greater depth, providing players with a richer narrative experience.
The game’s characters are well-developed, each with their own backstories and motivations. Lenny “the limp” Dexter, for instance, is not just a target but a key figure in the storyline. His gang, “The Cougars,” adds another layer of complexity to the mission, requiring players to think strategically about how to approach each target.
The developers have also paid attention to the game’s environments, making them more interactive and immersive. From crowded streets to secluded hideouts, each location is meticulously designed to offer multiple pathways and solutions, encouraging players to explore and experiment.
