Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice originally launched on the PlayStation 4 and PC back in August 2017, will now be making its way to the Xbox platform and will be available to play on the Xbox One from April 10th, 2018 onwards. Ninja Theory the developers of the award-winning game have also included enhancements specifically created for Microsoft’s most powerful games console to date the Xbox One X.
To recap Hellblade blends together several gaming genres including hack and slash, puzzle solving, and psychological horror. Check out the trailer below to learn more about what you can expect from this awesome single player action adventure game.
“Set in the late 8th century, the game starts with Senua (Melina Juergens), a Pict warrior from Orkney arriving at the border of Helheim in a quest to save the soul of her dead lover, Dillion (Oliver Walker), from the goddess Hela. Senua believes she suffers from a curse, and hears “Furies”, voices in her head commenting her every actions, notably one, the Narrator (Chipo Chung), who is aware of the player’s presence and talks to them.”
Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice has been built using the Unreal Engine 4 and sold 500,000 copies in just three months after launch and currently leads the 2018 BAFTA game award nominations.
