Owners of the Hauppauge HD PVR Rocket would be pleased to learn that this week a new software update has been rolled out by Hauppauge that brings with it support for a number of streaming services including Twitch, Ustream and YouTube.
Once installed the new software update will enable users to use the small Hauppauge HD PVR Rocket device to both capture and now stream footage from games consoles or your Windows desktop, laptop PC.
The latest software is available to download for free and the Hauppauge HD PVR Rocket pocket sized, stand alone video recorder which was unveiled last year is capable of saving full HD 1080p video directly to a USB media stick or connected PC.
If you haven’t already purchased a Hauppauge HD PVR Rocket small device is available to purchase online for around $150 from Amazon and is also available from retail outlets such as Best Buy for $140.
“HD PVR Rocket is portable and USB bus powered. Record your best game play at gaming events or at your friends home. Simply plug a USB thumb drive into the slot on the front of the Rocket and you can start recording from your games console or PC. Plug a microphone into the front of the Rocket and record your game commentary too!”
