A new mini PC has been launched by hardware manufacturer Hannspree this month in the form of the Hannspree Micro PC that is now available to purchase worldwide with prices starting from $277 or £212 in the UK.
Hannspree has equipped the tiny pocket sized stick style mini PC that measures just 4.4 x 1.5 x 0.4 inches and weighs just 1.3 ounces, with a copy of Microsoft’s Windows 8.1 operating system that is fully licensed.
Unlike the Windows 8.1 version that was supplied with the $100 mini PC stick, that turned out to be just a trial and needed to be activated via Microsoft by consumers adding to the original purchase cost.
The Hannspree Micro PC is powered by an Intel Atom Z3735F quad-core processor, supported by GB of RAM and is equipped with 32GB of storage that can be expanded using the included microSD card reader. Out of the supplied 32GB of storage just under 25GB is actual free space allowing you to install applications and documents.
Other features of the Hannspree Mico PC include connectivity via Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11b/g/n WiFi, together with a HDMI connector, USB connection and a micro USB port.
