Earlier this week we published a new one minute Grand Theft Auto V video that had been unveiled at E3 by Rockstar comparing the GTA V PS4 and PS3 graphics side-by-side.
Now a new and extended GTA V comparison video has been unveiled providing you with 5 minutes of footage comparing the two PlayStation versions, allowing you to really see in detail the differences between the GTA V PS4 version and the PS3 game.
Enhanced Graphics and Performance
The extended video showcases the significant improvements in graphics and performance that the PS4 version of GTA V offers over its PS3 counterpart. The PS4 version boasts higher resolution textures, improved lighting effects, and more detailed environments. For instance, the foliage and character models are much more detailed, and the draw distance has been significantly increased, allowing players to see more of the game world at any given time. These enhancements contribute to a more immersive and visually stunning experience.
Moreover, the PS4 version runs at a higher frame rate, providing smoother gameplay. This is particularly noticeable during high-speed chases and intense action sequences, where the improved frame rate ensures that the game remains fluid and responsive. The PS3 version, while still impressive for its time, cannot match the level of detail and performance offered by the PS4.
New Features and Content
In addition to the graphical enhancements, the PS4 version of GTA V includes several new features and content that were not available in the PS3 version. One of the most notable additions is the first-person mode, which allows players to experience the game from a completely new perspective. This mode provides a more immersive experience, as players can see the world through the eyes of their character, adding a new layer of realism to the game.
The PS4 version also includes new wildlife, denser traffic, and enhanced weather effects, all of which contribute to a more dynamic and lifelike game world. Additionally, Rockstar has added new missions, vehicles, and weapons, giving players even more content to explore and enjoy.
If you are not already aware, the latest Grand Theft Auto V game offers players an immersive open-world action-adventure experience. Originally launched on September 17th, 2013, on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms, GTA V quickly became one of the best-selling games of all time, thanks to its engaging storyline, vast open world, and diverse gameplay mechanics.
During E3, Rockstar also announced that their popular Grand Theft Auto V game will be launching on next-generation consoles, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The PS4 is currently still at the top of the game console charts, selling more consoles than rivals for 5 months straight. This move to next-gen consoles ensures that even more players can experience the enhanced version of the game.
Rockstar also finally announced that the GTA V game will also thankfully be launching on PC systems. After much speculation over the last 12 months as to whether it would or wouldn’t appear on the PC platform, this announcement was met with excitement from the PC gaming community. The PC version is expected to include even more graphical enhancements and modding capabilities, allowing players to customize their experience further.
