Following on from the recently leaked Grand Theft Auto Online Content Creator footage, Rockstar has this week released a new major update for its Grand Theft Auto Online game which brings with it the new Content Creator in its beta development stage.
Rockstar is in the process of staggering the roll out of its new Content Creator and promises that more content will be added as the new service goes from strength to strength over the coming months.
The new download is available today and provides gamers with the same tools that the games developers used at Rockstar to create a customised deathmatch and team deathmatch battles and races. The latest beta version will allow you to build your very own third person shooter ‘jobs’, together with normal races, rally races, and special GTA Online races. Rockstar explains:
“This week, we will give you the first chance to build your own content in GTA Online (and play content others have made) with the release of the Deathmatch & Race Creators Beta. With access to some of the same tools as our own game design and development team, you can craft your own custom blood-soaked gunfights, high-octane street races, screaming jet dogfights and more.
You’ll also be able to publish your original Deathmatches and Races via the Rockstar Games Social Club for the whole community to discover, download, play, rate and share. Players can create and customize Jobs for the following modes: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Race, GTA Race and Rally Race.”
With options within the beta download to customise the number of players, route type, number of laps, starting grid size, available vehicles, time of day, traffic, and wanted levels. As well as weapons, vehicles, and props. For more information on the new GTA 5 Content Creator beta download jump over to the official Rockstar website for details.
