Last week Google removed 21 malicious applications from the Android Market, they have just announced that they have now updated the security on the Android Market to protect people who may have downloaded the malicious apps.
Google has suspended the accounts of the developers responsible for the rogue applications, and have also contact law enforcement about the attack.
Google are also remotely deleting any of these malicious applications from people’s devices, and the update also closes any of the previous security holes.
Google will also be emailing anyone who downloaded these applications, and people will also get notification on their Android device about the security update.
