Google has confirmed that they will launch a Google Pixel 2 smartphone this year, the news was confirmed by Pixel boss Rick Osterloh in a recent interview with AndroidPit.
The Google Pixel 2 will follow on from the Pixel and will be a premium handset, it has not been confirmed as yet when the device will launch.
Google launched their Pixel smartphones in October of last year, so it would male sense for the company to launch the new device around September or October 2017.
Google will announce the next version of their Android OS at their Google I/O Developer Conference, the Pixel 2 is expected to be the first smartphone to launch with this new OS.
As soon as we get some more details o the new Google Pixel 2, including some specifications on the handset, we will let you guys know.
