Google has released a software update for a number of devices in its Nexus range, the devices include both smartphones and tablets.
The software update comes with the built number LMY48M although the devices will stay on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
The software update is part of Google’s recent announcement that they would start rolling out monthly security updates to Android devices.
The list of devices that are getting the new Android security update include the LG Nexus 4, the LG Nexus 5, the Motorola Nexus 6, the Asus Nexus 7 and the HTC Nexus 8.
You can check to see if the update is available for your device from the setting menu, the update has been released as an over the air update and is between 20MB and 30MB in size.
