The Google Nexus S is already available to pre-order here in the UK, although it wont actually be available until the 20th of December 2010. In the US the Nexus S will be available from Best Buy from this Thursday the 16th of December.
Best Buy is obviously expending large demand for the Google Nexus S, as they have published some details on the launch, and the Google Nexus S will be available from 8am at Best Buy stores on the east coast.
The Nexus S will be available either on a two year contract for $199 or as a SIM free version which will retail for $529, and Best Buy are limiting the sales of the Nexus S to two phones per customer.
The Nexus S features a 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, and 235ppi, and a 1GHz Cortex A8 hummingbird processor, and it runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
The Google Nexus S also features a front facing VGA camera for video chat and a rear 5 megapixel camera, there is also 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, A-GPS, NFC, a microUSB 2.0 port, a 1500mAh Lithium Ion battery.
