It looks like we finally have the Google Nexus 5 full specifications, as the handset was posted on Wind Mobile’s Facebook page, along with all of the specifications, the post has now been removed.
The Google Nexus 5 will come with Android 4.4 Kit Kat and will feature a 4.95 inch full high definition display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it will feature 445 pixels per inch (ppi) and Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Under the hood of the Google Nexus 5 will be a quad core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, the handset will also features 2GB of RAM and a choice of either 16GB or 32GB of built in storage.
The Nexus 5 will come with front and rear facing cameras, the front facing version will be a 1.3 megapixel camera for video chat, the rear facing camera will be an 8 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization.
Other specifications on the Google Nexus 5 include dual band 2.4Ghz / 5GHz 802.11 a/b/g/n/ncNFC (Android Beam) WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, a microUSB port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and dual microphones, the handset will also feature Ceramic power and volume buttons.
The Google Nexus 5 will measure 69.7mm by 137.84mm by 8.59mm thick and it will weigh in at 130g, we already know that the 16GB model will retail for $349, as yet we do not have any details on the price of the 32GB model.
We have been hearing for weeks that that the Google Nexus 5 would launch on either the 30th or 31st of October, although yesterday there were rumors of the 1st of November as the release date, and it looks like the actual launch date will be this Thursday the 31st of October.
Now that we have the Google Nexus 5 full specifications, we can see that this new Google smartphone is going to be one of the best Android smartphones for its price.
The Nexus 5 comes with some impressive specifications that you would find in a $600 smartphone and the fact that it will retail for $349 could make it a very popular device.
