Over the weekend Google rolled out a new update to its mobile Google Places application. Which has brought with it a number of new enhancements, together with a much needed increase in search speeds. Allowing your to find what you are looking for even faster.
Google Places allows users to check out local businesses, restaurants and attractions directly from your smartphone, and the new update is now available on Android and iOS devices. Google explains :
“With the new changes to the local listings in search on mobile devices, now I’ll be able to see more details about places quickly and make decisions more easily — whether about restaurants or any other type of place.”
Another great feature added in the Google Places update now allows you to easily swap between different restaurants for instance if required, by simply swiping between summary pages for each restaurant.
