Google has added some new photo features to Google+, you can now give your photos on Google+ a holiday feel with Twinkle and Snow.
Twinkle will turn any photo with something that sparkles, for example a Christmas tree, into an animated Gif. The Snow feature will add snow falling to any photo you upload with snow in it. More details below.
Twinkle: Bringing Your Photos to Life
Just in time for the holidays, we’re rolling out two new ways to make your Google+ photos more awesome, automatically:
1) Twinkle: upload a new photo of something that sparkles (like a Christmas tree or a chandelier), and we’ll gift you a version with lights that actually twinkle.
The Twinkle feature is designed to add a magical touch to your holiday photos. Imagine capturing the beauty of a Christmas tree adorned with lights and ornaments. With Twinkle, those lights will shimmer and twinkle, creating a mesmerizing effect that brings your photo to life. This feature isn’t limited to Christmas trees; it can be used on any photo with sparkling elements, such as chandeliers, fireworks, or even city lights. The result is an animated GIF that adds a dynamic and festive feel to your images, perfect for sharing with friends and family during the holiday season.
Snow: Adding a Winter Wonderland
2) Snow: upload a new photo with snow to Google+, and we’ll gift you a version with snow that’s actually falling.
The Snow feature is equally enchanting, transforming your winter photos into scenes straight out of a snow globe. When you upload a photo that includes snow, Google+ will automatically add falling snowflakes to the image. This creates a serene and picturesque effect, making your photos look like they are part of a winter wonderland. Whether it’s a snapshot of a snowy landscape, a cozy cabin in the woods, or children playing in the snow, the Snow feature enhances the wintry atmosphere and adds a touch of magic to your memories.
