Google has updated its Google+ social network with a new design and has also added in some new features, as you can see in the photo below, there is now a navigation bar on the left of your Google+ page.
You can now access all the sections on Google+ from the left navigation bar, and the sections can be rearranged and new sections can be added into the navigation bar, there is also an options to add a cover photo to your Google+ page.
There is also a new dedicated Hangouts page where you can access Hangouts, see invitations from your friends and more, have a look at the video from Google below.
Google also announced that more that 170 million people have upgraded to Google+, although they didn’t release any details on how many people are actively using Google+ on a regular basis.
