Believe it or not, Nexus 5 is still one of the best Android devices. Not too long ago, the search engine giant removed the red and white versions of the handset from the Google Play store.
According to a new report from TechRadar, citing a Google spokesperson, Google has stopped the production of the Nexus 5, but it will continue to sell the black version of the handset.
For how long will they sell the handset? Well, Google also confirmed to TechRadar that they will continue to sell the Nexus 5 through the first quarter of 2015 via the Google Play Store and select retailers. It was listed as “out of stock” but it seems Google will add the handset to the inventory, and will keep selling it for a few more months. There’s no word if Google what will happen after the first quarter, and if the production is really stopped, as per the second spokesperson.
If you’re in the market looking for a high-end Android device, and want to enjoy the latest Android operating system, you can’t go wrong with the Nexus 5.
But, if you want the best, you can check out the Nexus 6, which may be a little too big for many people, thanks to its gigantic 6-inch display.
