Last week Google announced the latest version of their Android OS, Android 2.2 (Froyo), which comes with a range of new features and speed improvements over the previous version of Android.
Google has started rolling out Android 2.2, to their own Android based smartphone, the Nexus One and users should get it shortly, although there is no exact timescale on when it will be rolled out to everyone.
