This week Google has started rolling out some new features to its Google+ social network, which have been designed to provide you with improved real-time searching. Together with the ability to search using Hashtags.
Now if you place a hashtag in your Google+ updates, that hashtag it will now automatically link to the search results for the term automatically. Watch a video after the break in which Google+ engineer Vic Gundotra takes you through the new additions.
The new features and technology used in the real-time searches slowly now rolling out to Google+ users, may well become the foundation for a new real-time search feature on Google main search sites.
