Google has today announced the roll out of its new Google +1 button to all image searches which will allow you to share images with your friends via Google+ and your Google Profile, in the same way you can with the traditional search results from Google.
Now when you mouse over an image within an image search you will see a little +1 button in the bottom left of the frame. If you are still a little unsure what the Google +1 buttons are all about a quick 1 minute video after the jump created by Google will explain everything.
Google explains:
Let’s say you’re looking to summit Mount Kilimanjaro and want to inspire a few of your climbing buddies to join you. You search for [mount kilimanjaro summit] and switch to Images mode to find rows and rows of photos testifying that this peak can indeed be conquered. By hovering over one of the images, you can quickly recommend this photo to your friends by clicking the +1 button.
