Google has announced a new feature it has just added to its Google Voice service which will help you combat those lovely telemarketing firms which leave those fantastic spammy messages on your Google Voice account.
If you are already a user of Google Voice the “Report Spam” button is probably already well know to you, but Google has now added a new spam filtering system in the back ground which will automatically remove and block any unwanted spam telephone calls without them ever making it to your phone. In a similar way your Gmail account filters your unwanted spam emails.
To enable this new feature in your Google Voice account simply go to the : Calls tab of Google Voice settings by checking the box next to Global SPAM filtering. If a legitimate number does find its way into your block list it can easily be removed by clicking the “Not Spam” button in your spam folder.
