A new mini PC has been launched by the Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign this week in the form of the GOLE2 which is available in two versions the first offering an Intel Z8350 supported by 4GB RAM and 32GB Flash and comes pre-installed with Microsoft’s latest operating system Windows 10.
While the second comes supplied running the Phoenix OS based on Android and is powered by an Allwinner A64 Quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor supported by 2GB RAM and 32GB Flash.
Both version come with 5 megapixel 90-degree wide angle camera supports Full HD 1080p video conferencing, also comes with easy-plug-in 2.5” HDD slot supporting up to 1TB built-in HDD storage and include build-in microphone and speakers as well as support for Full HD video conferencing.
Phoenix OS turns Android into a producivity-enabled OS. Optimized for mouse and keyboard control, comes with Windows-like user interface, supports multi-tasking, multi-windows, excel, word, PowerPoint, email etc. Phoenix OS is probably what Google is working on with their rumored Andromeda OS, turning Android OS into something usable for work.
