USB Drive

Anyone in the market for a versatile USB drive which is equipped with a micro USB connection, microSD card slot and USB 2.0 port, may be interested in a new device created by Pilot Electronics that has launched over the Kickstarter crowdfunding website this month called the GoDrive.

Unlike other more traditional USB drives the GoDrive has been specifically designed as an on-the-go microSD card reader that can be used with your smartphones, tablets, phablets or computer systems.

Watch the video below to learn more about this handy portable USB drive, that combines a number of useful features into one portable device. The GoDrive USB drive project is looking to raise $40,000 from the Kickstarter community to make the jump from concept into production. Its creators explain a little more about its unique design:

“At Pilot Electronics, we believe that not having enough digital storage space should never hinder your enjoyment of life or the ability to record, share, and transfer your data. The majority of solutions available for data storage and transfer are cloud solutions or locked in storage, and while convenient, it seems the rapid increase in technology has lost touch with how easy the old school USB flashdrive made data storage accessible.

While we love the cloud, it is not always available where some of the best memories are created and recorded. We designed the unit to be portable so it can be taken with you whenever you need to manage your data. GoDrive is the most economical method of modern data storage. GoDrive is the updated USB drive for your smartphone, tablets and smart devices.

Compatible with standard 2.0 and micro USB devices, you can manage your files on-the-go. This product is for those who need a easier way to expand storage and transfer information between all their smart devices. “

For more information on the new GoDrive USB jump over to the Kickstarter website for details and to make a pledge from just $12 to be one of the first to own it via the link below.
