If you have a hard time keeping up with your expensive prescription eye glasses or sunglasses the new product has hit Indiegogo seeking funding to come to market. The product is called the Blesses TrackR and is designed to attach to the earpiece of your glasses and use your iPhone to help you keep track of your eyewear.
The Glasses TrackR sensor slips onto the earpiece of your glasses using a neoprene sleeve. The sensor is designed to be left on the glasses at all times and you can track it from your iPhone or Android device using an application. The application and sensor also allow crowd sourced tracking so users can find their items after they’ve been lost or stolen.
You can also use the sensor on the glasses to find your lost smartphone. The sensor doesn’t need any recharging using replaceable batteries that can last for up to two years of normal use. The app offers a distance indicator to show you can getting closer to your lost item. The application allows you to track up to 10 different items at the same time. The biggest problem I see is that the sensor is large and ugly. The project is seeking $10,000 with 27 days to go and has raised $2435 so far. A pledge of $29 will get you a single Glasses TrackR device.
