Building on the popularity of their previous Gigabyte P34G gaming laptop which was unveiled in June of last year, Gigabyte has this month unveiled their latest incarnation in a second version of the original laptop in the form of the Gigabyte P34G v2.
Gigabyte has designed the new Gigabyte P34G v2 to provide users with a solution “perfect for any corporate worker who needs a reliable laptop by day and then wants to play demanding games after work.” explain’s Gigabyte.
The Gigabyte P34G v2 will be available to purchase later this month for around $1400 or £990 and comes equipped with a 14 inch high-resolution screen offering 1080p resolution. It is also powered by a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M GDDR5 4GB/2GB graphics processor supported by NVIDIA FXAA, Adaptive V-Sync technology.
The 4th generation Intel Core Processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M, featuring 640 CUDA cores, provides up to a 47 percent performance improvement when compared to its predecessor. Gigabyte explains a little more :
“The P34G v2 pushes this bold innovation further with the latest gaming-level GTX 860M graphics upgrade, along with the 20.9mm, 1.67Kg Ultrabook-like chassis. P34G v2 will definitely keep reining the most powerful laptop in its class.
