Gigabyte has today unveiled a new addition to their range of fanless mini PC systems, announcing the launch of a new Gemini Lake powered system which takes the form of the Gigabyte BRIX BLCE-4000C. Powered by a 6 watt Intel Celeron N4000 dual-core Gemini Lake processor the small and quiet mini PC is equipped with a single SODIMM slot capable of accepting up to 8 GB of DDR4-2400 RAM.
Other features include connections for audio, USB 3.0 Type-C, 3 x USB 3.0 Type-A, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI 1.4b and VGA as well as support for 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2 thanks to the addition of a card attached to the M.2 slot.
The mini PC measures just 56.22 x 103 x 116.52 mm in size but unfortunately lacks a HDMI 2.0 port and microSD card reader. Unfortunately, no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet by Gigabyte, but as soon as information comes to light, we will keep you updated as always.
“With a broad choice of processors covering the entire performance spectrum, the BRIX sets a new standard for desktop miniaturisation that makes it perfect as a discreet HTPC/multimedia hub, an ultra-low power PC for the family, an office PC or as a digital signage unit.” For full specifications jump over to the official Gigabyte website by following the link below.
