The Fujitsu TH40/D convertible tablet was due to go on sale at the end of June, the launch was delayed and Fujitsu didn’t give us any information on when this new convertible tablet would go on sale.
Fujitsu has now confirmed that the TH40/D convertible tablet will finally go on sale in Japan this week on Friday the 22nd of July, although we still don’t have any information on when it will go on sale in the US and Europe.
As a reminder the Fujitsu TH40/D convertible tablets features a 10.1 inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, it also features a slide out QWERTY keyboard.
On top of that the Fujitsu TH40/D comes with a 1GHz Intel Atom 5670 1.5GHz Oak Trail processor, plus 1GB of RAM and 120GB of storage in the form of a HDD, there is also 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, HDMI, Bluetooth 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports.
The TH40?D will come with Windows 7 and it will retail for about $1,012, as soon as we get some information on when this convertible tablet will be available in the US and Europe we will let you guys know.
