Fujitsu has unveiled a new notebook computer today including the Lifebook U904 Ultrabook that you see here. The machine is 15.5 mm thick and weighs 1.39 kg. The notebook is aimed directly at the mobile business professional that means a notebook with decent power and portability. The notebook features a 14-inch frameless WQHD+ IGZO display and supports touch interaction.
The keyboard is backlit for working in dark environments and the machine has a number of security features. Buyers can also choose for optional embedded 4G LTE capability to stay connected on the go. The notebook runs Windows 8.1 or Windows 7 Pro. Several processor options are available ranging from a Core i5 up to a Core i7-4600U processor.
The notebook can be fitted with up to 10 GB of RAM and ships with 2 GB installed. Various storage options are available including SSDs up to 512 GB. Other features include a pair of USB 3.0 ports, and HDMI output, a pair of internal microphones, a docking port connector, and a memory card reader. The 14-inch LED backlit panel has a native resolution of 3200 x 1800. An optional screen with the same specifications is available with an anti-glare coating, but it doesn’t support touch interaction.
