Fujifilm has launched a new digital camera, the Fujifilm FinePix S200EXR.
The Fujifilm FinePix S200EXR is, according to Fujifilm, a ‘SLR-type’ camera. It comes equipped with a 12MP sensor and a 14.3x Fujinon optical zoom lens, which offers a 30.5mm – 436mm equivalent focal length. Additionally, it features a 2.7-inch high contrast LCD display, making it easier for photographers to review their shots in various lighting conditions.
Advanced Features and Modes
The Fujifilm FinePix S200EXR is packed with advanced features that cater to both amateur and professional photographers. One of the standout features is the 1/1.6″ 12 megapixel Super CCD EXR sensor. This sensor is designed to provide exceptional image quality, even in challenging lighting conditions. The camera also includes EXR Priority modes and EXR Auto, which allow users to optimize settings for different shooting scenarios automatically.
For those who enjoy creative photography, the Pro Focus Mode and Pro Lowlight Mode are particularly useful. Pro Focus Mode helps in creating a shallow depth of field effect, making the subject stand out against a beautifully blurred background. On the other hand, Pro Lowlight Mode is designed to capture stunning images in low-light conditions without the need for a tripod.
Film Simulation and Intelligent Flash
The Fujifilm FinePix S200EXR also offers five Film Simulation Modes, including Black & White and Sepia modes. These modes allow photographers to replicate the look of classic film photography, adding a nostalgic touch to their images. The new ‘Super Intelligent Flash’ feature ensures that the flash output is automatically adjusted to suit the scene, providing well-balanced and natural-looking photos.
The camera’s 2.7″ high contrast 230k-pixel LCD is another notable feature. This display offers excellent visibility, even in bright sunlight, making it easier for photographers to compose and review their shots. Additionally, the improved battery life is a significant upgrade, offering almost a 50% increase compared to its predecessor, the FinePix S100FS. This means more shooting time and less worry about running out of power during important moments.
Here are the specifications:
