Foxconn has this week unveiled a new range of fan less mini PC systems in the form of the Intel equipped AT-5300, and AMD equipped AT-5600. The new range has been designed to be 40 times smaller than an average PC tower system, and each is passively cooled to keep noise to a minimum.
The The AT-5300 is equipped with an Intel Dual Core Atom D2700 running at 2.13GHz and the AT-5600 is powered by an AMD Dual Core E450 1.65GHz APU.
Each system is also fitted with, 1 x SO-DIMM socket (DDR3 memory up to 4GB), 4 x USB 2.0 ports, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, 1 x SD/SDHC/MS/MS Pro/MMC card reader and a 1 x Gigabit LAN port. Other ports include 1 x HDMI, 1 x VGA, as well as connectivity via 802.11n Wi-Fi.
The mini PC systems measure 19 x 13.5 x 3.8 cm in size and are VESA mountable, and are soon to be available worldwide for less than $200.
