Affordable sporty car fans, we have some bad news. Ford has announced that the Fiesta ST will not be coming back to the US. Ford blames the lack of interest in the B segment for the Fiesta ST going away. Folks in Europe will be able to get hands on the new Fiesta ST.
All Fiesta models will be withdrawn from the US due to lack of sales. Ford says it doesn’t make financial sense to import just the Fiesta ST to the US. Sales of the Fiesta ST were decent enough, but overall Fiesta sales weren’t.
Ford also notes that the Fiesta ST will not get an AWD model in European markets where it is still available. I have to wonder if this will cause prices on leftover and used Fiesta STs to climb.
