One of the most anticipated video games for the Xbox One game system is Halo 5: Guardians. To promote the pending launch of the game, Ford has created a one of a kind F-150 truck. The truck was built at Galpin Auto Sports and is a replica of a Halo Sandcat from the game. The truck is based on a 2015 Ford F-150 Lariat SuperCrew 4×4 with a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 and FX4 off-road package.
The truck was wrapped in a Halo-themed green wrap. Inside the truck has a custom interior with an Xbox One hooked to displays in the headrests. The truck is also hopped up with lots of aftermarket parts on the outside. It has a Baja XTR package from Addictive Auto Designs.
It also has FOX racing shocks, Deaver Leaf Springs, a Currie floating rear axle, 17-inch wheels, and widened fenders. The truck as has side steps and a chase rack. The truck will be on display at the South Hall entrance at the LA convention center and will be shown at other locations leading up to the launch of Halo 5: Guardians on October 27. This is one of the coolest trucks I’ve seen to promote a video game.
