This week the popular tablet and smartphone article reader application, Flipboard has released a couple of new tools and utilities that allow users to easily add widgets and profile badges to their websites.
The new Flipboard widgets will then automatically update as the featured magazine is updated and when clicked will take a viewer directly through to the magazines website.
– Profile Badge: Invite people to read things you’re flipping by posting a link to your Flipboard profile.
– Magazine Widget: Grow your magazine audience or share magazines you love by linking to them on your website.
Other features available via Flipboard include the ability to edit your magazines from the Flipboard Editor, allowing you to rearrange and delete items, set covers and share your magazines with friends. Jump over to the editor.flipboard.com site and login.
