We have been hearing rumors for a while that Facebook and Spotify will be offering some sort of music service to Facebook users, and now it seems that Facebook has bigger plans for music than just Spotify.
According to a recent report by GigaOm, Facebook has bigger plans for music, and they are hoping to integrate other music service and applications with Facebook, and the company is currently working on adding more partners for its f8 annual developer conference.
At a the Cable Show in Chicago, Comcast CEO Brian Roberts showed off deep integration with Facebook, that is designed to make television more social, allowing you to share TV shows with your friends.
Facebook can obviously see the benefit of offering multiple platforms for music and TV and movies within its platform and according to GigaOm Facebook will feature a music dashboard that will offer a wide range of features, which will include music notifications, recommended songs, tops songs, top albums and more which can be shared with your Facebook friends.
