Admittedly it is a little strange for a furniture manufacturer to release a toasting application for the iPhone, but it might come in useful this New Years Eve.
The new IKEA Skal! app allows you to select a glass and fill it with VR liquid (presumable champagne). Thanks to the iPhones accelerometer as you move around so does the liquid in your glass and when you bump with another iPhone and lovely chinking sound indicates that your contact details have now been transferred to the other iPhone. Watch the video after the jump to see it in action.
As you bum your phones together both cameras also capture the moment, which Ikea then encourages you to share on Facebook.
