Earlier this week, Google’s upcoming Nexus device was seen at the announcement of Android 4.4 KitKat, which was later spotted at FCC and Bluetooth SIG as well. While everyone predicted that it’s the next Nexus device, the infamous @evleaks jumped into the whole situation and commented that it’s not Nexus 5, but a CDMA version of LG G2. It turns out he was incorrect; LG-D820 could be LG Nexus 5. He posted a tweet confirming that he was wrong about LG-D820/821.
The reliable @evleaks wasn’t accurate this time as he posted a tweet, “Happy to say it looks like I was wrong about the LG D820/D821…”

This means that it might be the next Nexus 5? Well, we will find out very soon as rumors suggest that Google will announce the device next month, along with the manufacturer. Recently, Google also reduced the price of Nexus 4 by $100 which might be signal that Google has the new Nexus device in the pipeline. The device is expected to feature a 5-inch display, Snapdragon 800 SoC and will run Android 4.4 KitKat on top of it. Earlier this week, we even saw some mockup designs of the device.
Stay tuned, we’ll let you know if we hear anything about the alleged Nexus 5.
