Dan Pinchbeck Creative Director from the Chinese Room game studio has unveil more details about the upcoming PlayStation 4 release of the Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture first-person adventure video game that the company is currently working on.
Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture will be available to play on the PS4 from August 11th 2015 and a new trailer has been released to whet your appetite ahead of E3 that is juts around the corner and kicks off next week.
Gameplay within Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is based in a village in Shropshire during the apocalypse and focuses on six characters, with each one telling their own story, and each connected to landmarks in the world that evolve as the game progresses and takes place.
As well as releasing the new trailer a new dedicated website has also been created providing more information of the upcoming title. Pinchbeck explains more :
“There’s going to be a lot more news about Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture coming out between now and launch, including a development diary which lifts the hood on how we got from the first ideas to this game we’ve poured heart and soul into over the last three years; another mini-documentary and lots more. But don’t worry – the mystery of what happened in Yaughton valley thirty-one years ago will remain buried in the empty fields and woods for you to discover.”
