If you are looking for something a little different in the form of a keyboard, you might be interested in this Engrain Keyboard which uses wood grain to provide a tactile surface.
The Engrain Keyboard was designed by Michael Roopenian a few years ago, to provide a tactile connection that is unparalleled to any keyboard currently on the market.
Roopenian wanted to create a keyboard that maximised key recognition, and wanted to attune the keyboard to “innate human sensitivities”.
As the Engrain Keyboard is just a prototype project at the moment, no information on pricing or if the keyboard will ever go into production in some form or another, has been revealed by Roopenian at the current time. For more information jump over to the Michael Roopenian website.
