Makers and hobbyists searching for a project to keep them busy this weekend may be interested in the new EmuPi RetroPie Mini Arcade Cabinet v2 created by Thingiverse member “dopesoner930”. Improving on the original design the latest EmuPi RetroPie mini arcade cabinet requires less printing and includes an improved backdoor design, adjustable feet and external USB port.
“For the print settings you will need supports mostly just for the parts that connect the shell pieces together since they print in the air. Infill 100 percent I do think you could get away with less than that but I did it to be certain. Printed in PLA with a .2 layer height. This will print on a standard 200x200x200 printer I made sure to model it that way so that many people could use and print it.”
For more information, full instructions and all the 3D print files you will require, jump over to the official Thingiverse website by following the link below. If you enjoy building Pi projects you might be interested in our comprehensive list of Raspberry Pi displays, HATS and small screens.
