EE the UK’s largest mobile network provider has today announced the launch of its new EE TV set-top box which comes equipped with over 17 free view channels, a 1TB drive for storing recorded TV and video (roughly 600hrs), together with a selection of catch-up and on demand services.
The EE TV set-top box is available for free with EE Broadband for just £9.95 a month plus £15.75 line rental and enables you to view up to 4 different live or recorded programmes on your TV and 3 compatible smartphones or tablets, watch the video below to learn more.
The EE TV box can be controlled using your smartphone and can be paused and rewind, and set programmes to watch or record. EE explains a little more:
“Our TV service is a completely new way for you and your family to enjoy television at home. It works seamlessly with up to three compatible tablets or phones. You can watch anything from your EE TV box, including your recordings, in any room in the house.
Move something you’re watching in the app on your tablet or phone to your TV screen with a simple flick of your finger. When you’re enjoying something on the small screen, put it on the big screen just by sweeping your fingers towards the television. Flick – and there it is. Flick is just one of reasons that using the EE TV app is smarter, easier and more fun than using a conventional remote control.”
