ECS has unveiled a new addition to their range of fanless mini PC systems, announcing the imminent launch of the new ECS Liva Z which measures roughly 117 x 128 x 33 mm in size.
The new ECS Liva Z will be the first mini PC equipped with Intel Apollo Lake processors, and the range has been specifically designed to provide “silent and reliable” systems explain ECS.
Even though the exact specifications for the Intel Apollo Lake processor have not been confirmed by ECS the mini PC uses a 10 watt chip indicating the processor might take the form of a Celeron J3355, Celeron J3455, or Pentium J4205. Specifications for the new mini PC include :
– Intel Apollo Lake SoC
– 2 x SO-DIMM (up to 8GB)
– 32GB / 64GB eMMC storage
– 1 x M.2 SSD slot
– 3 x USB 3.0 ports
– 3 x USB 3.0 Type-C port
– 1 x combo jack
– 2 x Gigabit LAN
– 1 x HDMI
– WiFi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0
