EliteGroup Computer Systems or ECS this week unveiled a new addition to their range of mini PCs in the form of the ECS SI mPC computer that was recently spotted making its way through the FCC.
The new small form factor computers are similar in size to the Intel NUC systems and measure roughly 4.6 x 4.2 x 2.2 inches in size and come powered by an Intel Celeron N2830 Bay Trail processor supported by up to 8GB of RAM.
Other features of the mini PC include a half-size mini PCIe slot with support for mSATA storage devices, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x Gigabit Ethernet and HDMI port together with and IR port for a remote control.
Connectivity for the device is provided by both 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 but unfortunately no details have been released as yet with regards worldwide availability or pricing for the new ECS SI mPC mini PC.
