Makers, developers and hobbyists in the market for a desktop CNC machine might be interested in a new solution unveiled by MakerDreams called the Evo-One.
The Evo-One has been designed to provide a ready to run CNC milling machine that is capable of transforming your ideas into reality. watches promotional video below to learn more about this desktop CNC solution that is now available to back via the Kickstarter crowdfunding website with pledges starting from €1499.
The creators of the Evo-One explain a little more about its inspiration, construction and features :
Evo-One is the new MakerDreams team’s project and it represents the natural evolution of our first product: inventOne 3D printer. We have been working for two years and we produce 3D printers, fact that has allowed us to develop both a planning and manufacturing experience, giving us the possibility to identify from the beginning every problem that could arise during the product’s development.
The will and the enthusiasm that we put in the mechanical planning and in the design have encouraged us to study, develop and give life to a new project: a powerful, beautiful and easy CNC Mill, compact and safe, different from all the other problematic, heavy and expensive machines. Evo-One CNC can be easily used by anyone: an hobbyist, a maker, a fablab or a company.
Thanks to its ease of use and to its polymethylmethacrylate covering you can use it inside any room, in your garage or in your office, with no filth or dust coming out of the machine during the process and with an considerable reduction of noise. Differently from a 3D printer, CNC mill carves the material from a block inserted in the machine so to produce 2.5D and 3D items with both a perfect yield and a smooth surface, using different kinds of materials.
